How it Works:

The Backup Client software is automated. 

At a predetermined time, the Backup Client software "wakes up" and determines which files need backing up, and what kind of backup. 

It then compresses those files into archives which are encrypted using an encryption key known only to the data owner. 

The software activates the Internet connection and contacts the remote server and sends its backup.

Throughout the transfer, the data is automatically verified for integrity.
